Appleton startup ‘growing with intention’

For entrepreneur Amanda Santoro, time has proven to be the biggest challenge since launching her organic baby food label in June 2017.

Using locally sourced ingredients, she produces the food at a commercial kitchen in Appleton nights/weekends. The hard work is paying off, though. “It’s an exciting time for growth for the business as we extend distribution through subscription and retail accounts.”

The gBETA Northeast Wisconsin accelerator aids on the business side of things; feedback from repeat customers at the Appleton Farmers Market helps on the product side. “Working directly with the parents and getting feedback is most gratifying.”
