Start 2023 on both feet at the New Year’s Eve Chilly Chili Run and Walk – held on the Marian University of Wisconsin campus in Fond du Lac.
Sponsored by the town’s eponymous running club (which was founded in 1979), this family-friendly event promises pavement-pounding fun plus fabulous food to boot:
• 2:30 PM – Race-day registration opens
• 3:15 PM – FREE ½ Mile Kids’ Run
• 3:30 PM – 5k Run/Walk begins
Party and awards to follow, featuring chili bowls to the top male and female finishers in multiple age groups. Even if the weather outside is frightful, the chili (and camaraderie) is sure to be delightful.
