Foraging for healthy food

by Jan Schroder

Born of a desire to deliver from scratch food that’s healthy and big on flavor, Forage Kitchen splashed onto Madison’s downtown dining scene in 2015. Today, the city’s inaugural health-conscious restaurant boasts countless menu options in multiple locations.

Choose from favorites like Local Roots (mixed greens, spinach, beets, citrus, roasted fennel, candied walnuts and goat cheese topped with a maple balsamic vinaigrette) or the Salmon Bowl (quinoa, spinach, poblano cabbage slaw, roasted red peppers, citrus roasted fennel, sunflower sprouts and smoked salmon with green goddess dressing).

Focusing on fresh, made-from-scratch cuisine, Forage Kitchen brings heart-healthy flavors to the midwest culinary scene.
