The phrase, “yoga practice, not yoga perfect,” is said before class to remind yogis it’s not about perfecting your flow, but rather building a relationship with yourself. So, as a sport that’s meant to be practiced, a variety of Wisconsin organizations are hosting classes.
• Goat, cat and dog yoga encourage adoption and help people relax.
• Many breweries offer weekend classes – followed by a happy hour.
• Yogis in cities like Eau Claire and Madison meet up to flow together for free.
• OmTownYogis, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting Milwaukee through yoga as a natural tool, started Yoga @ the museum, parks and library.
