When the Milwaukee Bucks overhauled the team’s look and brand in April 2015, the only thing certain was the lasting impact the redesign would have for an organization entering a new era under new leadership.
Almost three years later, a fiercer buck logo and green and cream-colored uniforms (cream from Cream City, one of Milwaukee’s nicknames) constitute one of the NBA’s most successful rebranding efforts. Hailed by national publications across the board, the Bucks ranked sixth on the NBA’s most popular team merchandise list.
Drafting the international superstar now sporting the league’s fourth most popular jersey doesn’t hurt, either.
