The Water Council

Wisconsin is taking its water technology global, as Milwaukee-based The Water Council (TWC) and Israel signed agreements in 2017.

TWC and Israel’s Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research agreed to produce new technologies through water-related research. Additionally, TWC and Israeli water-technology startups will pilot and develop new applications for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District and other Wisconsin water utilities.

In Ireland, TWC announced a Belfast branch, its goal to “nurture a pipeline of water tech companies with the potential to establish U.S operations.” Beverley Ferrara will lead the branch as international trade and foreign direct investment consultant.
