The 75 acres of Henry Maier Festival Park have served Milwaukee in a variety of ways. Most recently, the park helped Milwaukee earn the moniker City of Festivals, hosting Summerfest, “The World’s Largest Music Festival,” and 28 other cultural festivals and events.
As fans’ expectations evolve, Summerfest has become known for better site lines and permanent amenities along its lakeside setting. Over the past 15 years, Milwaukee World Festival and Summerfest sponsors have invested $90 million in Henry Maier Festival Park.
The calendar continues to expand with new events, including the Big Gig BBQ and Petfest. City of Festivals indeed.
