Gigging is great fun for Mistrial, a five-piece band from the Fox Cities, but members have no plans to quit their day jobs. Not with impressive titles like corporate CEO and circuit court judge.
Four years ago the group was jamming in drummer Mark Fischer’s basement. Last summer, they opened for Creedence Clearwater Revival and Cory Chisel.
“That was a blast,” recalls guitarist (and attorney) Rob Bellin. While members’ high-profile jobs limit rehearsal time, Mistrial regularly plays local venues, covering popular classic rock titles.
“We’ll play as long as we can fit it into our schedules,” says Bellin.
