Learn to ski with your dog at Winter Fest, Feb. 2-3

True Wisconsinites know that the only way to beat winter is to layer up and embrace it. That’s the philosophy of this weekend’s Winter Fest.

Hosted in Madison, the snow-loving celebration will feature live music, fat bike races, snow carvings, hot cocoa, candlelit snowshoe tours and more. Best of all, there’s even a 2-hour skijor (“ski driving”) workshop, where you can learn to ski with your dog (provided he or she is tough enough to pull you!).

Find a friend and some warm gloves and head to Elver Park this Saturday. Winter Fest is free and family-friendly.
