Come July, the city of Milwaukee will be on display as tens of thousands of Americans descend for the 2024 Republican National Convention – happening July 15-18.
As to the big-picture goal? To showcase the vibrant, energetic, world-class city that – stemming from a pair of Native American words, in Algonquian and Potawatomi respectively – is often called “The Good Land” and “The Gathering Place.”
Political affiliation aside, the convention is poised to boost the local economy, create employment opportunities in the hospitality sector and benefit local businesses.
For folks unfamiliar with the region, it’s a chance to share the city’s abundant beauty.
