Sofar Sounds Milwaukee draws crowd with secret pop-up shows

Sofar Sounds is changing the way you listen to music by curating live shows in unique spaces. The catch? The show’s location and artists are kept secret until the day before.

The Milwaukee team is a group of four volunteers who work to curate shows twice monthly. Shows typically feature three diverse acts with no headliner.

“It’s one of those instances where it’s out of your control – it’s casual, exciting and you get exposed to new artists, music and venues you might not know existed,” says Lindsay of Sofar Sounds Milwaukee. Next time, add some spontaneity to your night out.
