June: Pairing seasonal craft beers with summer fun

Come June, Wisconsin’s craft breweries are ready to serve up a menu of summer-approved beers for lakeside outings, camping trips and Miller Park tailgating. After a full sunny season sipping on crisp Pilsners and citrusy witbiers, it’s time for a new set of full and rich brew flavors for the colder months ahead:

1. NightCall, Karben4, Madison. Smoked porter with bold body and malty sweetness.

2. Warped Speed, Lake Louie Brewery Company, Arena. Scotch ale with rich flavor and minimal heaviness.

3. Bourbon Barrel Stout, Central Waters Brewing Company, Amherst. Imperial stout aged to perfection in oak bourbon barrels.
