Water-related academic programs are flooding the state as a result of the heavy focus on water technology and water-centric companies in Wisconsin.
Sitting on two Great Lakes, Wisconsin borders the Mississippi River and contains 15,000 lakes of its own. So it should be no surprise that the state has capitalized on water. And with more opportunities for water-related careers in the future, Wisconsin’s variety of academic programs is essential.
There are currently 36 water-related programs available on 17 campuses, from a technical to a master’s degree level.
