Client-first approach helps distinguish Realtor from competition

Jim Schleif

Finding success in the real estate market isn’t easy. According to the National Association of Realtors, just 20% of agents handle 80% of closings. Shorewest agent Jim Schleif advises aspiring real estate agents to draw on their personal attributes to succeed: “You stand out by being innovative and progressive.”

Schleif, whose $258 million career sales puts him in the upper 6% of agents in the metro Milwaukee area, succeeds by going the extra mile for clients: “Put the client above all else.”

For Schleif, that means handling pre-sale details, sending personal notes and staying in touch after the sale.
