The 2018 midterm elections brought out a record-breaking number of Wisconsin voters, with participation from approximately 60 percent of voting-age adults.

With the promise to peacefully and diligently solve the state’s problems, Gov.-elect Tony Evers praised his supporters for welcoming him into their towns and emboldening friends, family and neighbors to participate in this year’s race.

Evers also expressed gratitude to his predecessors for their allegiance to the state and a hard-fought election campaign. “From the bottom of my heart – prost,” he said to a cheering Dane County crowd. “Thank you!”
