Looking at the state of Wisconsin’s economy

Welcome back to The Wisconsin 100! In this issue, you’ll find success stories about the state’s economy — and we’ve got to admit they weren’t all that hard to find.

From Oshkosh and Eau Claire to Beloit and Kenosha, anecdotes of rebirth and revival abound in our state. Wisconsin has already established itself as a hub for the water technology industry, and IT and biomanufacturing are soaring, too.

This all plays into the hands of a marketing campaign to attract Illinois millennials to Wisconsin — after all, it’s still all about the economy, no matter where you live. Plus, we have cheese.
