4 newsworthy debuts coming to Wisconsin

2018 will be a fitting year for our state motto, “Forward,” with exciting developments and productions ahead. Here are four of the biggest:

1. Wisconsin’s first IKEA

The furniture and Swedish meatball behemoth opens its doors in Oak Creek.

2. The Milwaukee Streetcar

After a summer of laying tracks, the streetcar will take passengers on its first 2.5-mile route.

3. “Hamilton”

Marcus Center President and CEO Paul Mathews said the Broadway mega-smash is Milwaukee-bound, dates TBD.

4. The Bucks’ new arena

One question remains: Who will land naming rights for the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center?
