Once a single-platform profession, sports journalism now requires broadcasters and journalists to be savvy in almost every medium, including print, TV, radio, digital and social media.
Veteran Milwaukee journalist Drew Olson started in the business 32 years ago at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, spending 20 years there as a sports reporter. He’s since worked as a senior editor, columnist, on-air host, talk-show producer and TV reporter at OnMilwaukee.com, ESPN and The Big 920/The Big 1070.
Olson joined The Wisconsin 100 to discuss how the industry and his job has changed. Watch the full interview here.
