For the last 12 seasons, Scottfree Salon owner Scott Yance & team have helped behind the scenes at NYC Fashion Week. Scottfree clients in Milwaukee and Mequon are pretty runway savvy, Yance says, thanks to the immediacy of the Internet. “Everything translates a lot more quickly now,” he says. “We don’t have to talk our clients into (new styles).”
Yance predicts men’s hairstyles will shift from close-cropped ’40s cuts to longer, early ’70s inspired looks.
“Fashion, hair and makeup usually go in the opposite direction of current trends.”
