This May, about 2 million college graduates nationwide will enter the workforce. While many seek different cities offering new opportunities, Marquette University senior Brendan Flanagan is looking in the city he’s called home as an undergrad.
In 2013, Flanagan arrived on campus to major in mechanical engineering and minor in studio art. In time, the New Jersey native fell in love with Milwaukee’s nitty-gritty feel and down-to-earth locals.
“The city has a great, young energy about it,” said Flanagan. “It’s full of like-minded people, and many of my friends stayed after graduation.”
