Fourth-generation Two Rivers farmer Pete Kappelman was named Dairyman of the Year 2018 by the World Dairy Expo, and is honored to be recognized for his work.

Meadow Brook Dairy produces 30,800 pounds of milk, 1,197 pounds of fat and 943 pounds of protein annually. When not managing the farm, Kappelman serves on the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center and the National Milwaukee Producers Federation boards.

Since 1970, World Dairy Expo has awarded Dairyman of the Year to 19 Wisconsin farmers like Kappelman who work hard every single day of the year to uphold the Dairy State’s reputation.
