UW-Whitewater educates the future water workforce

by
Institute for Water Business

What: The Institute for Water Business

Where: University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

Why: Where do water technology companies go to find marketing, finance and business grads who understand the water industry? In Wisconsin, they turn to UW-Whitewater, which has immersed itself in educating the future water workforce.

To complement its extensive water business curriculum, the university created the Institute for Water Business in 2013. The first program of its kind in the United States, the Institute’s mission is to engage, educate and empower stakeholders to identify and successfully respond to regional, national and international water business issues, challenges and opportunities.
