Kenosha becoming relocation magnet

by
Kenosha

Many companies located in northern Illinois have been relocating to Kenosha due to the improvement of southeastern Wisconsin’s economic environment. Kenall Manufacturing started the trend in 2013, taking 400 jobs and its headquarters north to Kenosha.

Companies have followed suit since, including the following:

Toolamation Services Inc. moved 65 jobs to Wisconsin from Beach Park, Illinois, in 2015.

Vonco Products LLC picked up from Lake Villa, Illinois, and created 86 jobs in Kenosha in 2016.

• That same year, Colbert Packaging made the move, bringing approximately 100 jobs with it.

• In 2017, Prestige Metal Products moved 46 jobs from Antioch, Illinois.
