With 75 established biomanufacturing companies and 50 startups – representing $115 billion in annual revenue – Wisconsin is quickly emerging as a powerful national biomanufacturing hub.
“Biomanufacturing is a major focus,” said Johnson. “We have all the necessary components.” Building on those existing assets and resources, Johnson sees 2018 as a pivotal year for Wisconsin’s biomanufacturing center of excellence.
